Army, LTC, 0-5, stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado

While deployed to Afghanistan as a Commander, 0-5 was accused of engaging in an inappropriate relationship with a subordinate. It was alleged he played favoritism towards the individual and caused a lot of internal strife within his Command due to the relationship. Only a select few witnesses were interviewed by the 15-6 officer. When we got the case, our team conducted 9 additional interviews, collected vital statements and secured evidence that exonerated our client. The interviews revealed a completely different picture than the one painted by the investigating officer. We exposed the 15-6 officers slip shod investigation. Our original response to the AR 15-6 investigation did not prevent the initiation of the GOMOR. However, our response to the GOMOR included new information that we gathered showing that the individual who filed the complaint was a liar and admittedly attempted to manipulate the whole situation to her advantage. We were able to uncover the truth and exonerate this long time Veteran of the U.S. Army!
